샬럿 브론테의 셜리
샬럿 브론테셜리는 제인 에어 후 샬럿 브론테 (Bronte)의 두 번째 출판 소설(필명 Currer Bell으로 출판)로 1849 년에 처음 출판된 샬럿 브론테의 사회 소설이다. 소설은 나폴레옹 전쟁과 1812 년 전쟁으로 인한 산업 불황 동안 1811 ~ 12 년에 요크셔에서 시작한다. 이 소설로 Shirley는 여성의 이름의 대명사가 되었다.
