He becomes a servant to the queen and sees how human flaws appear more grotesque when magnified. The giants seem morally superior and are appalled by the stories Gulliver tells about his homeland. The king of Brobdingnag expresses disdain for the violence and greed that dominate European politics. Through this contrast, Gulliver begins to reflect on his own society and loses some of his pride. Eventually, he leaves the land by accident and returns once more to England.
